Project Overview:
The "STIO Kids" project came as a response to the need for modernization and digitalization of communication between parents and kindergartens, as well as facilitating the daily operations of kindergartens. When I started working on this project, I encountered a situation where parents had limited insight into their child's activities and condition, while kindergarten administration conducted many processes manually, which took a lot of time and resources.
Biggest Challenge: The biggest challenge was designing an application that would successfully combine the needs of parents and administration into one simple and intuitive system. On the parent side, the goal was to enable them to track their child's activities and health in real time, as well as account status (invoicing). On the other hand, the administration needed a solution that would facilitate managing children, organization, and kindergarten finances. Solving this problem required detailed planning and design, so that all elements would be coordinated and functional.
Implementation: The project implementation took four months, during which I developed all key functionalities, including a system for tracking child activities, a financial module for account management, and tools for kindergarten administration. Through close collaboration with the team from Stio Technology, I ensured that the application was adapted to specific user needs and met all security and technical standards.
Final Results: The STIO Kids application brought significant improvements in communication between parents and kindergartens. Parents now have complete control and insight into their children's daily activities, while administration has been greatly facilitated through automated processes and simple data and financial management. The application has also positively impacted the operational efficiency of kindergartens, reducing the time needed for administrative tasks.
